The
sea exploration series was clearly a toy rather than a scale model. The
proportions were way off, but they could float in your bath tub! They were
first introduced as a bonus item on select 1996 blisterpacks. In 1997 they
became their own series of 4 blisterpacks, which was expanded for the 1998
and 1999 series to cover more than just the sea.
