item numbers

This page is to let you know about a new feature
on my site that you may be wondering about.

In the future...

Each car will have a number below it as shown in the example below. These numbers are just to help me expand my site. I understand that some collectors may adopt these numbers to use with their own collections, but these numbers may be changed in the future. I will note all such changes in the left hand index column of the sub-page for that model for at least 60 days after the change.

NSX
1991-02 Honda/Acura NSX

ACU-01-01

For those trying to decipher my coding...
The first three letters denote the manufacturer, the first two
numbers denotes the casting, the third denotes the paint scheme.
For variations, I will note 'b' or 'c' after the numbers.

!! Update !!
I have decided to change the first number of the second set of
numbers to a 'T' or 'S' to designate 'T'urbo Wheels or 'S'uper 4x4
versions of that casting denoted in the first set of numbers..

Also, I have decided against using the letter designations after
the item number for variations. Instead, if I believe the
variation to be wide-spread, I will denote it with a different
item number. If I believe the variation to be an error, It will
be noted with the normal version on the details page.

Some of you may have also noticed that the car names are
now on two lines instead of one. The top line is what Galoob
called the car. The second line is the real car that the micro
was modeled after. I may be wrong on some of these, so please
email me if you are an expert on a certain body make or model..
I have done this in an attempt to correct some errors made by
Galoob such as calling the March 707 a McLaren.
